Retinol
Retinol is what this serum is built around, declared at 0.11% in the ingredient list. The 0.3% in the product name refers to the nano-complex that carries it, not the retinol content — so treat it as a low-strength retinol and build up slowly.
How to use
- At night, on clean dry skin, apply a small amount and let it settle before your moisturiser.
- Start twice a week and build up slowly as your skin adjusts.
- Wear sunscreen every morning while you are using a retinol.
- Patch test on a small area first — this serum also contains tea tree leaf oil, an essential oil that some skin reacts to.

Frequently asked
The name says 0.3% but you say 0.11%. Which is it?
Retinol is declared at 0.11% in the ingredient list, and that is the figure to go by. The 0.3% describes the nano-complex the retinol is dispersed in, not the retinol content.
How do I start, and how often?
Twice a week at night, on clean dry skin, then build up gradually as your skin adjusts. Wear sunscreen every morning for as long as you are using a retinol.
It contains tea tree oil — should I be careful?
If your skin reacts easily to fragrance or essential oils, patch test a small area first and wait a day before using it on your face.
Do I still need a separate niacinamide or vitamin C?
Niacinamide is already here at 5%, so a separate one is not needed. Keep a strong vitamin C to the morning and use this at night.
